| 6th Health Asia International Exhibition & Conference |

 Marketing department in coordination with health Insurance department in the month of March 2010 sponsored 6th Annual Health Asia 2010 exhibition and conference which is premier health event bringing pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturers, practitioners, medical equipment providers, medical institutions and universities, hospitals, clinics, labs & allied industry together with some of the most important and influential decision-makers in the region.
Health Asia leads the way in delivering the best interactive opportunities to participants and an ideal environment to the audiences. In short, the exhibition delivers to exhibitors, the right balance between Health industries players, senior decision makers and practitioners.
The theme of the conference was on quality in health care and insurance solution available to the general population. Head of health insurance department Mr. Ali Haider participated in the conference as a guest speaker and spoke on ?Creating Change? and ?Crafting Innovative Health Insurance Products? thus distinguishing features of AICL?s health insurance to its customers. MD AICL Mr. Ali Zeb was also present in the conference as guest of honor and later visited AICL stall in the exhibition hall.
At the exhibition stall representatives of marketing and health insurance department were present to facilitate the visitors at the stall by providing them with information and products? brief.

| Senior Managers Conference |

 Senior manger?s Conference held on Friday, March 05, 2010 at Pakistan Society for Training and Development, Karachi.
The conference was held in order to discuss the Challenges and vision for the Company for 2010 and beyond. Presentations were made by the Management Committee and Functional heads on their respective domain which covered progress, portfolio and new developments. Mr. Manzar set the mood of the conference with an excellent presentation on Operational Excellence which was followed by presentations by Functional Heads.
Mr. Naim Anwar (ED Sales) emphasized the sales team to establish rigorous standards for Credit Management and encouraged the team to deliver the approved targets.
After presentations Syndicate sessions were held where two groups were formed of Sales and Functional heads mainly. Sales Group focused and agreed on Performance Bonus targets for 2010; while Group B consisting of Functional Heads highlighted areas where attention was needed such as Service Excellence, Business development and relationship building. Mr. Ali Zeb was also invited to the panel to answer queries the delegates present. Mr. Jehangir Bashir facilitator of the conference ended the conference with encouraging remarks and summarized the day?s session with a few key points.

| Regional Sales Conference "50 Years of Leadership Excellence" |

Sales d epartment organized two regional conference in the current year 2010, which were in North and South.
The North Regional Conference was held at PC Lahore on Monday 19th April 2010 and South Regional Conference was held at PC Karachi on Monday 26th April 2010. The conference was bifurcated into two sessions, first session was of presentations and second session was of syndicates along with awards and recognitions.
The main purpose of the sales conference was to increase networking, review businesses and discuss Challenges for 2010 and beyond.
Mr. Naim Anwar ED sales inaugurated the conference with a welcoming note. The first session highlighted the key concern areas, business figures, growth, sales support and operations and was dominated by presentations given by members of the Management Committee and Divisional heads. The syndicate session turned out to be extremely interactive with the whole sales team participating in full force and sharing their experience and concerns with the Functional Heads.
Both the sales conference ended with awards and recognition going out to top premium achievers, best branch, best division. Mr. Ali Zeb ended the sales conference in Lahore on a positive note and encouraged the sales team to increase their efforts towards business growth and development. |

| Insurance Cricket Bonanza- 2010

 Insurance Cricket Bonanza-2010, was organized which was keenly contested by teams from 16 insurance companies operating in Lahore. All companies showed great enthusiasm and participated; which included AICL, EFU, Premier, Universal, Statelife and ALICO.
Tournament started on March 13 at Crescent Model High School Ground. Four teams qualified for the semi finals which were played on the penultimate day of the tournament on Sunday march 21. Ground was decorated with colorful banners from various insurance companies - AICL was the core Management committee of the tournament. The commentary box was manned by poetic and technical Satwat Butt, enthusiastic Zurre Atta and hilarious Tariq Choudhry. Final match was played between between Askari Insurance and Universal Insurance. It was a smooth ride for Askari Insurance who stroked their way to victory with ease and concluded the match in the 6th over and won it by 8 wickets.
Soon after the final match - a Graceful Prize Distribution Ceremony was conducted. The Chairman - SSAC - Mr Satwat Mahmood Butt -in his welcome address extended warm greetings to all senior executives of the insurance industry. He also offered his thanks to all council members for their moral support with the special mention of the presence of living legend of the insurance industry Mr Mohammed Ishaque Khan who made special effort to come to Lahore from Saudi Arabia to attend this event.
Program ended on a musical note. Sana Noor - a versatile singer stirred the strings of the hearts of those who were present on this occasion with her thrilling performance. The fun packed cricket Bonanza finally came to an end on a social and entertaining note. |

| Adamjee Insurance Dialysis Day at SIUT |

 As a part of the CSR project initiative the donation committee on behalf of Adamjee Insurance gave donation to SIUT on accordance of providing dialysis to 650 patients. Adamjee Insurance organized a dialysis day at SIUT on 23rd Dec 09. The event was titled ?Adamjee Insurance Dialysis Day?. A Team of 20 people visited the hospital taking part as volunteers to understand and contribute their services for the dialysis being conducted that day.
Dr Anwar the director of SIUT presented the history and operations of SIUT and its contribution to the society. He appreciated the contribution of AICL and expressed that CSR activities like these by corporate can make a difference in improving the health sector of Pakistan he also highlighted that even as individuals we can do a lot by volunteering or contributing Zakat to SIUT.
Mr Moazzam from AICL expressed his appreciation to SIUT for organizing a platform where awareness of health facilities in Pakistan was highlighted and commented that AICL will work with SIUT on more such projects.
The Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) is the largest public sector health organization in the country which provides free, comprehensive and modern medical care in kidney diseases and transplantation to all. Adamjee Insurance has joined hands in this noble cause and is certain to continue with it in the future as well. |

Adamjee Insurance Company Limited (AICL) celebrated "The joy of vision" by sponsoring Free Cataract operations to the needy at Pakistan Eye Bank Society (PEBS). A team from AICL Comprising of Mr. Jehangir Bashir Nawaz, Mr. Akber D. Vazir, Ms. Sabina Rahim and Ms. Naima Shabab visited PEBS and met Mr. Qazi Sajjid, President of the society and other board members as well. The town Nazim of Nazimabad was also present and appreciated the efforts of Adamjee Insurance for their service towards sponsoring free Cataract operations. A Round of the hospital was taken, giving an oversee of the cataract surgery procedure and demo of equipments.
On the Occasion Mr. Jehangir Bashir Nawaz, Executive Director AICL, also commented "We feel honored in helping such organizations who are working for the welfare of the poor section of our society. Adamjee Insurance Has and will continue contributing towards such noble cause in the future as well."
Pakistan Eye Bank Society has been functioning for the last 35 years and during this period the Society has played an effective role to eliminate the blindness and restores the eyesight of thousand of people in the country, to help the society do so Adamjee Insurance has taken a step which will continue moving forward in the future. |

Exhibitions are one of the strong medium of creating brand Awareness as well as receiving direct feedback from the customers about the product and services of the company. It also helps the Sales people to enhance his/her confidence while interacting with different facets of people and provides a training opportunities for the marketing and sales staff. Delegate from Italy, Argentina, Egypt, Malaysia, Iran, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam, India, Colombia, China , Philippine, Bulgaria, Nepal, Iraq, USA and Pakistan participated in the exhibition and presented their research papers. All the concerned of dairy industry visited the stalls and gathered information. While keeping these in view Adamjee insurance livestock dept. setup a stall in 6th Asian Buffalo conference and Exhibition. Main objective was to create the brand awareness of Adamjee Livestock insurance in the concerned sectors. Apart from Adamjee Staff two Guest Relation officers were also on the stall to welcome the guest and provide the information. 1st day the conference was Chaired by Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shebaz Sharif. He along with other govt. officials also visited the Adamjee stall, spend quite a considerable time and showed great interest in our Livestock insurance product. Our representative at stall explained the services we are providing to the farmers and also to the govt. institutions. A Tag Line was really appreciated by CM Mian Shabaz Sharif About Buffaloes that " Buffalo is a Black Gold giving white Oil"

Corporate Reports 2008 |

 Karachi ? June 29, 2009: In a ceremony held earlier, Adamjee Insurance Company Limited (AICL) was awarded for the Best Corporate Reports (BCR) in the Non Banking Financial Institutions Category. The ceremony was held at a local hotel in Karachi and the Chief Guest was Mr. Salim Raza, the Governor of State Bank of Pakistan.
The awards, which are adjudged jointly by the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), gives recognition to excellence in annual corporate reporting. It also seeks to promote corporate accountability and transparency through the publication of timely information, factual and reader friendly reports.

Limited (ZTBL) Enters Into Crop Loan Insurance Agreement |

 On 21st January, 2009, Mr. Ali Zeb, MD of Adamjee Insurance Company Limited and Mr. Malik Imtaiz, Head of Credit Division of Zarai Taraqiati Bank Ltd., signed an agreement for Crop Loan Insurance at ZTBL’s Head Office in Islamabad. This agreement will provide insurance coverage to all production loan borrowers for major cash crops in line with Mandatory Crop Loan Insurance Scheme of the Government.
The agreement ceremony was chaired by Mr. Zaka Asraf, President of ZTBL. Mr. Syed Ahmer Shaoib, Mr. Pervez Rasool and Mr. Irafan-ul-Haq from AICLwere also present on this occasion along with the Directors and the Mangaement team of ZTBL. |
